Copy of Tuesday Afternoon - Term 2, Weeks 1 - 8

Service Description

Term 2's focus will be on Henri Matisse and his colourful creations. We will dive into Matisse's background and immerse ourselves in his artwork, using this as our inspiration for our own art pieces. Throughout the term, we will use various different media to create a few different works of art. Our young artists will have the opportunity to create colourful paper collages, as well as learning pastel and painting techniques. If we are lucky, we will even get to do some screen printing onto some fabric! That all depends on how well my practise piece goes though! Some important pieces of information: - Artists in Years 1 - 2 will be collected from their classrooms before the bell goes. Older artists can make their own way to Room 21. - Please make sure your child has an afternoon tea snack packed to give them energy for the afternoon. - Class runs from 3 - 4:30pm. - Unfortunately, I cannot offer refunds for missed classes because of sickness or appointments. It is also important to note that there is no class in the last week of the term (week 9). It's always so great getting to work with the same group of kids over a number of weeks. It's a cool way to experience different forms of art and make some new friends at the same time. I hope you can join us! Class fully booked?
